Our Story

Azure Corporation—the parent company of enabling ideas®—was founded in 2004 by Blair Severn and Marlene Bonigut with a vision to redefine how organizations access strategic support and achieve meaningful results. Both founders brought extensive credentials in elevating businesses across industries and recognized a fundamental gap in the traditional consulting model: heavy on advice, light on implementation, and rarely integrated across strategy, financial architecture, operational design, and execution.

In response, they created a new method and a new identity. Enabling ideas® was established to reflect this distinction—a revolutionary approach anchored in the Strategic Blueprint™, which unifies strategy, financial and operational design, and implementation into a single propulsion system for organizations at critical inflection points.

To strengthen this model, Azure assembled a curated network of domain experts whose specialized capabilities enhance the Strategic Blueprint™ in practice. What began as a small group of trusted collaborators grew into the extensive enabling ideas® Community—an ecosystem of practitioners who support execution, capability building, and transformation while enabling ideas® leads the strategy, design, and leadership work.
